Peter & Rob Braam – Owners/Operators

Peter and Rob Braam started Braam’s Custom Cabinets in 1980, when the two built and installed every cabinet out of their father’s work shop. In 1983, it became a three way partnership with their father, Adrian, joined the team as he was unwilling to accept retirement at that time or at any time as he still comes to work every day at the age of 88. It is most certainly Adrian’s work ethic that was instilled upon both Peter and Rob at an early age that has become the driving force behind the success of Braam’s Custom Cabinets. Braam’s is now operating out of a 47,000 square foot manufacturing facility with all the latest in CNC machine technology and a crew of well-seasoned cabinetmakers and professional support personnel, many of them having been with the company for over 15 years. Rob is responsible for the management of the manufacturing shop and overseeing the field installations and is often hands on, ensuring that every Braam’s client is satisfied down to the last detail.

The company’s growth also includes three showrooms in London, Ontario; Oakville, Ontario; and Birmingham, Michigan. Each Braam’s location has a dedicated design team in, all skilled in tailoring cabinetry to your specific needs. Peter oversees our design and sales staff in each of the showrooms and has a hand in all sales and marketing for the company. Peter works hard to ensure that each of our client’s vision comes to life!

Laura – Sales Coordinator/Sales & Design Consultant

I have been a part of the Braam’s Custom Cabinet team since October 2008, with experience in the cabinetry design business since April of 2006. I have worked on projects that range from small kitchens to large scale detailed homes. With my education in architecture and interior decorating I have developed a keen eye for good design.

One of my greatest assets is the ability to listen to my clients and give them their dream kitchen or bath even when they’re not quite sure what they are looking for. Exceeding clients’ goals is my primary objective.

I enjoy following the trends of modern design, and trying to incorporate those concepts into designs that will last the life time of the home. I look forward to researching and utilizing new and innovative products to better the overall design of a custom cabinetry project. You have lots of choices. Invest in good design and quality work.

Rawda – Showroom Manager

I first joined Braam’s in 2011 as a designer working in the London showroom and quickly became an asset to the team. My attention to detail and innovative designs earned me the opportunity to lead the redesign for our largest showroom in Oakville, Ontario whose grand opening was in June 2015.
My position with Braam’s has since evolved to Showroom Manager where I manage, motivate and develop our sales team, maintain the Braam’s brand to the highest of standards, and ensure our clients are extended the highest levels of service Braam’s can provide

Paula – Sales & Design Consultant

I joined the Braam’s team in September 2012, with 8 years of cabinetry and design experience under my belt. In addition to my education in Interior Design, I also hold a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University. Coupled together, these skills ensure I am well equipped to handle all manner of projects that come my way.

Variety is the spice of life, or so the saying goes, so it should come as no surprise that I enjoy designing in a variety of different styles. I am always researching new products and materials in an attempt to offer a fresh take on each project. As a designer, I will listen and gain an understanding of your wants and needs while paying close attention to detail so you don’t have to.

Taral – Sales & Design Consultant

I joined the Braam’s team in November 2013. The exceptional training in architectural design & detailing I received at school of Environmental Design gave me the confidence to work successfully on unique projects since 2005. I am influenced to some degree by modernist design concepts and draw great inspiration from Mies van der Rohe`s famous words “Less is more”. My previous Residential and Retail experience has helped shape my design philosophy and played heavily into assessing, diagnosing & meeting needs, working with time & budget and managing all manner of projects.

As a design consultant, my main focus is serving the client. I love meeting interesting and eclectic people and enjoy the variety of experiences a cabinetry design career provides. My job is to listen intently. I understand that designing is an intricate process and require a great deal of attention and detailing, keeping in mind the uniqueness of the trends and the excellent range of materials.

TIFFANY – SALES & DESIGN CONSULTANT

I joined the team at Braam’s in September 2014. After Studying Interior Decorating at Fanshawe College I knew that my passion was with kitchen design.  I was fortunate enough to be able to stay local, and for the last 9 years work in the Kitchen renovation world.  During this time I expanded my knowledge past just kitchen design, but the whole renovation process.  I feel that this allows me to give another level of perspective to my clients, and help them look at the big picture of the project they are preparing to take on.

Growing up in North London on my family farm, I developed a love for constructing my own pieces of furniture. Working with wood myself has built a strong understanding that the quality of the finished product comes from both the craftsman, and the material used.  This allows me to educate my clients on the best materials that they should use to construct the kitchen of their dreams!

My purpose as a kitchen designer is to create something unique, beautiful, and above all practical. I believe that the kitchen is truly the heart of the home, and reflects the family that lives within it. It is important to design a space that represents the needs, and wants of my client above everything else.

AMY – SALES & DESIGN CONSULTANT

I joined the Braam’s team in November 2014.  I have an Advance Diploma in Interior Design from Fanshawe College and I’m an active member of the NKBA since 2009.  Through the NKBA Ontario Chapter I’ve been able to create a large network of industry professionals combined with over 10 years of experience in the kitchen & bath industry. I bring a large knowledge of both the design and construction phase.

My patience and dedication as a designer helps make this process enjoyable and successful.  I make sure that I’m highly available to my clients and industry professionals so I can offer a high level of customer service.  I look forward to working on new or old projects and embrace referral as the best form of flattery.
